Reconciliation: Praying for Families

Marriages and families are struggling more than we know. Close relationships are hard, but God created us to be in right relationship with Him and others. In our society, marriage is being devalued, loneliness is on the rise and parental stress is at a critical level. I believe the church is in the “ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) that inspires close relationships flowing from our right relationship with God through Christ.

Will you pray with me…

…for your family?

…for the families in your circle?

…for the health of families in our communities and country?

I’m fighting for families as a missionary with FamilyLife Canada. Together, we’re offering more help and hope for families. Download your copy of my 2024/25 Prayer Calendar to help you stay focused on praying for marriages, parents and families. Print it for your fridge. Start on today’s date and simply keep cycling through it each month for a year and watch God shape your heart and impact the families around you. Building stronger families builds stronger churches and communities. The ultimate and lasting strength of every family is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:5-7
