Dear Friends and Family,
I’m Steve Bourque and I’m on a mission to equip parents to build connected families with coaching and without financial burden. Bill Bright, founder of Cru International (of which P2C is apart of), once wrote, “As you love God and serve Him, you will undoubtedly experience the greatest adventure life has to offer.” This has, no doubt, been the case for me over the last number of months as I launch into local and national missions work!
Not only are young families lacking a solid foundation, but many don’t know where to turn. I believe that FamilyLife Canada is an amazing place to start. Our goal is to share the help and hope of Christ in the world. This starts in homes that are building on the rock solid foundation of Jesus’ teachings and not on a sandy beach (Matthew 7:24-27).
As a former pastor of children and families I bring over 20 years of experience working with both parents and children here and abroad. I know that today’s moms and dads need strategies for keeping their families connected when screens, shifting cultural values, busyness and conflict stress are pulling them apart.
I’m excited to be working with a ministry that provides services to families and churches such as:
- coaching and mentoring
- Weekend Getaway marriage conferences as well as
- parenting workshops and tools.

How can you help? (I can’t do this alone!)
Since I began my journey of building a sustainable ministry partnership team back in September of 2023, I’ve seen God provide in many ways. With now over 220 email subscribers, over 100 prayer partners, 50 monthly financial partners, 69 total donors and just 25% of my monthly goal left to raise, I believe establishing this ministry is right around the corner. Will you help me get over the final hurdle to the starting line so I can report to my role? I would be honoured to partner with you. I am seeking:

- PRAYER (let me know you’re praying for me, my family and for families in the region)
