Steve, thanks for the ‘like’. I can appreciate the focus of your blog immensely, being the mother of 5 children myself.
I find, the more I study and learn, that our relationship with God is SO similar to the relationship of a parent and child. It really helps me to focus on that, and how I, as His child, make mistakes. It is through His style of ‘parenting’ that we can learn to parent our own children in the best way. I just wish I had learned these lessons when my oldest, who is now 18, was small. He’s a wonderful Christian young man. But, there are so many things I could have done better.
God bless you in your endeavor!
And I’m sure when my kids are 18 there will be many things I wish I had learned as well. Who could possibly and fully learn to parent as well as God intends and models?
That’s so true…it’s just that ‘hindsight is 20/20 thing’. LOL
